Hotel quality would depend much on the hotel staff. They should fulfil some requirement based on the standard operational procedure that has been given by the director. You can recruit the hotel staff by using two ways. The first one is taking the person from the tourism school. Usually, they have already have a description about the job and what the requirement that is required from the hotel staff. However, if you take them from the tourism school, they usually have the salary that is relatively high compared who has graduated from the general major that has not related at all with the hotel.
The next thing would be recruiting a person from the general background. In this case, you need to form them based on what you want. As a consequences, you need to provide them with the training. In this training, you can teach them and ask them to follow all the hotel procedures that have been required. Their salary is quiet low as you have to provide them with the training so that they can be based on your requirement. In short, the staff should have a friendly personality as well as helping attitude. They should also polite and knows how to behave nice in front of many people.
